Judy Koval passes

I'm very sorry to say that this sad news came from Wayne Hensley yesterday. Judy was a wonderful lady and she and Mick were a great part of knifemaking, whom we'll miss very much:

To All Members of the Knifemaking Community
It is with a heavy heart that I pass this information on to you. Judy Koval of Koval Knives passed away today (October 6, 2005) in the early morning hours. She lost her battle with cancer after a relatively long fight, which she did not want everyone to know about for reasons of her own.

Black-Epperson Funeral Home, 231 Main Street, Byesville, Ohio (740-685-2525) will be handling the arrangements. Viewing will be Sunday, October 9 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be on Monday, October 10 at 11 am The funeral home is located about 1/4 mile off I-77 at Exit 41 in Byesville, Ohio.

If needed, lodging is available in Cambridge, Ohio at Exit 178 off I-70 where there are several hotels located (this area is about 5 miles North of Byesville).

Wayne Hensley
