grizzly vs 1x30

i got a grizzly last month, had to throw a fit to get the frieght co to deliver to my house.
that aside, i was going to do some quick grinding on some copper. decided to use the 1x30.
man i don't know how i ever made a knife on that. bogged down several times, took forever to get any corrosion off.
so if you are thinking of a 1x30 or 42 because you can buy them local and thier cheap,
my advise is don't.
well off to work.

You are so right, Dan! A 1x30 or 1x42 against a Grizzly is a real David and Goliath situation and this time David is going to lose big time............

The wife and I must have seen it 20 times by now. Never could figure why they didn't do a sequel.

Oh, and I agree about the Grizzley. There are nicer machines, but not for the $$. You can actually spent more buying a crappy underpowered unit. Now if they only made a few little changes to it.....

I have to agree with you all but I can't begin to tell you how many knives I have made with my 1x42 over the years. I have other grinders now but still use it all the time after ten years.Dave
