Steampunk style folding knife "Nautilus"
My latest work: My own Steampunk style folding knife (lock back). Custom made mosaic damascus steel blade (made by MvH-Damast) connected to the spine with gold plated brass spacers. Cristal glass in gold plated portholes protecting the rotating pivot. White MOP tiles in gold plated brass. Nickelsilver liners with some filework. Gold plated handle pieces. 36 Coper plated m2 bolts, copper wire between the blade and the spine.

Amazing work. I normally don't much care for less than practical designs, but that is really a work of art.

The little bolt connectors between the blade and,, hmm uh spine? It is really cool. I've had to do micro TIG welding and extreme tolerance sheet metal parts, +.000 -.002 and can appreciate the work that went into this beautiful knife.
