Randall 8-4 Damascus Prototype?
A recent offering on eBay is claimed a prototype. Does anyone know if this was done at the shop?
I ask because I was shown one at blade a couple years ago being offered by a reputable dealer. Not sure if it was this one. But the logo stamp on the right side of the blade? |

Hey Scott, thought maybe someone tinkered with Damascus steel at the shop. Breaking with tradition just a bit:-)
Thanks for the clarification. It was good seeing you, and visiting the museum last week. Sam |

Hey Scott, are you saying no way the 8-4 featured in this thread was made at the shop, or no way Damascus knives never made at the shop? If so, was this one that appeared in a 1984 Mercedes magazine farmed out? Any idea?
