Anyone into old harmonicas?
I know there are some pickers here, how about harmonicas? This has been in my family as long as I can remember, I'm assuming it was my grandfathers. It's mark Strauss Loudspeaker/made in Germany.
Does anyone know anything about these? __________________ Jerry Morrison Dublin, OH |

Jerry, I'm getting the dreaded red "X" so I can't see the picture. I'm afraid I don't know harmonicas but used to spend a lot of time searching them out on the "bay". I just enjoyed looking at them.

Hi Jerry!
I can see you tuba like looking harmonica okay, but I've never seen such a weird one. 0] I still have an circa 1950's Hohner regular type harmonica, which my parents gave me as a kid. I'm so musically talented that I learned to play "When the Saints Go Marching In", and then realized that I would never top this feat, so that's it for my repertoire. Cheers! Mooseville Citizen P.S. I can't sing either... __________________ It takes less effort to smile than to frown ! |
