"Do we need a new chandelier?"
This is the last letter in the mailbag, so we;ll address this issue and move on:This one is from
the Rev.C.A.Jones -Church of the First Opinion..He writes; At the monthly meeting this week, one member raised the question of buying a chandelier...I personally opposed it as a waste of money, citing that if we did buy it,no one here knew how to play it,and besides that, what we really needed was more light! Am I being unfair in this? Well, your Reverendship, I'm probably biased in this, as I have always loved great chandelier music...those haunting tones can really stir peoples' emotions.Who knows?, Someone who is a gifted chandelier player may very well come in the door next Sunday! Maybe a compromise here, perhaps buy a used one and still be able to afford more lighting? How about it guys, anymore chandelier enthusiasts out there? __________________ I once complained about having no shoes, until I met a man who had no...guitar |
