Hey guys I haven't made it in the chat room yet, but I have to post here anyways. Damon's work is fantastic! I met him up at smokey mountain knife works and every piece he has is a work of art. I bought a neck knife off of him and I am very pleased with the quality of the blade. He's a good guy and he is very good at his work so check it out sometime if you get a chance.

Got some new cable. It patterned out differently being more rubust than any cable I've worked with, most of the extra IPS would invert but this stuff didn't. It also left a distinct temper line which I've never had cable show.

The first I thought was a fail so I reforged a new billet. The second is the customers design. I took the first billet and reground and played with the etch to find the secret to bringing out he pattern.

Great week - Great friends !!
I have had an awesome week when coming to knife making.
Our beloved friend Ray sent me these to help me with a project: [IMG]  [/IMG]Helping out a friend on Saturday, told him I was going to Woodcraft's anniversary sale to pick up a piece of wood. He said that since I helped him so much of the year, pick what I wanted and it was on him: [IMG]  [/IMG]And another ... Won a gift certificate to a knife supply house and got some G10 and vulcanized spacers: [IMG]  [/IMG]Last, my work was getting rid of some of their equipment and scored 3 sheets of 304SS. Wow... what a week !!! Thanks to Ray and all my friends !!

Just about got the knife shop completed
 Just have to put the doors on the cabinets and build my 72 Final size - 8' x 22' 7 ft ceilings with a 5' loft above for storage [IMG]  [/IMG]My shop dog [IMG]  [/IMG]Got one molded paring done - yes, she wanted pink [IMG]  [/IMG]got 2 more started - 1 Ivory swirl full tang and 1 (3)wood hidden [IMG]  [/IMG]
