Alex Daniels Titanium Folder
This folder was done for a collector friend.
![]() The photo illustrates the high contrast, black background that we've been discussing in previous posts. The design is generally termed "Arabesque", which translated means, "..an intricate or elaborate pattern or design". The inlay is mother of pearl, not ivory. The camera shot unfortunately washed out the iridescence in the pearl. This type of engraving is often coined as the "cadillac" of engraving styles. It is time-consuming, complex to lay out and it costs. It is also one of my favorite design choices for the "right" knife. Tim |
