Randall knife observations in Clarence Browns Men's store in 1944

Most of us have seen this picture in Gaddis' book page 90.

Clarence Brown was Bo Randalls father-in-law and carried Bo's knives in his Orlando retail store almost from the first. (P89 Gaddis)

Have you looked closely at the picture and knives displayed?

This is one I don't think I've ever seen an example of. Judging the hilt, it appears to be a stag Hunter with 2 sections of RWB spacers, similar to the modern model 25 trapper. Has anyone seen this style knife?

How about this one? It appears to be a Hunter with RWB spacers and early Randall/Scagel shaped hilt?

How about the Clarence Moore sheaths? Some of them appear to be thicker than others?

What do you think? Any other observations?
Regards, Sam

You referring to these?
The ones on far left and right appear to have long handles?

The white squares may be price tags.

Not a clue Bill, but I bet it has something to do with the sign directly in front/below it that I can't read!

I was trying to see if they were possibly Fish & Bar knives, but I sincerely doubt it. Too dark to be Stainless Steel knives. I doubt that there were ANY of them even made at this timeframe.....

I'm with you, I doubt it was a fish and bar knife. Could it be rough forged blades in different states of completion?
