Olympus E-1

Anyone have any experience with the Olympus E-1???? I am looking at it and it is pricey but, it pretty much has what I am looking for.. Compared to the Canon or Nikon which I know are a little bit cheaper??

I think it looks like a good camera. I guess it depends on how it performs in real life.

I think the real action is in the $5000+ range for serious pro-level gear.

I am looking for a new higher grade prosumer/pro camera. I am currently using a Sony P70 which has done me quite well but need higher resolution with less noise and more versatility.

Here is what I am looking for. Perhaps someone can give me insite:

Must Have:

Must have Viewfinder functionality with LCD (not just playback)
SLR Preferrable
At least 6 MP preferrably 8MP
Interchangable lenses preferrable
Long Battery Life
Multiple media types accepted
Great White Balance Control
Auto Bracketing, etc.
Auto Shutter/Fstop Priority, manual, average/spot metering
Flash
External Hot shoe

Less then 2000.00 complete...

Any suggestions??
