proper step drill for gpc-1000 scales

been searching a few sites but can't find what I am looking for. I purchased what I thought was the correct one, but it is too small. this is what found at a knifemaking website, and it seems that the KKTS56 is the way to go. do you agree? the following is what I found at one of the sites. do I need socket or button head?

The letters "S" and "B" in our part numbers are used to designate the following: S = socket head cap screw, B = button head. The pilots on these drills are 1/4" long.
