Let's do something with those unfinished projects!
As many of you are aware, I don't frequent these forums as much as I have in years past. After getting into knifemaking in 2005 and becoming a founding member of the KCKA, I quickly found new and creative ways to use the tools that I was rapidly acquiring.
I got really busy with a number of projects, and these days, I am preparing to start a long term airplane build. Through it all, I have tried to keep the grinder working on a blade or two. I managed to get several done this past Christmas. As a result of my 'on again, off again' knife making schedule, I have several unfinished projects on the bench. These projects range in style from mild to wild--tiny to huge. I'd like to get one or two finished before I start filling my shop with spruce and building jigs in the next couple of months. Now, if I know knifemakers, I know that they have unfinished projects laying around. So..., how 'bout we get some done and make a KITH out of the effort. We could call it the 'Get 'er Done' KITH (even though I cant stand that guy). No theme beyond that... Any interest? __________________ Andy Garrett https://www.facebook.com/GarrettKnives?ref=hl Charter Member - Kansas Custom Knifemaker's Association www.kansasknives.org "Drawing your knife from its sheath and using it in the presence of others should be an event complete with oos, ahhs, and questions." Well, maybe we can revive this idea later.
I wonder if I have a bowie started anywhere... BTW, I'm building a Pietenpol Air Camper. __________________ Andy Garrett https://www.facebook.com/GarrettKnives?ref=hl Charter Member - Kansas Custom Knifemaker's Association www.kansasknives.org "Drawing your knife from its sheath and using it in the presence of others should be an event complete with oos, ahhs, and questions." |
