Now i just have to build a light box.I took over 40 pictures, inside, outside, different angles, flourecents, incandescents and these are the best pictures of all I realy wanted everyone to see the fit and finish better.no scratches,no gaps, awsome plunge, etc.
So Don how about a tanto for the next challenge?

Ps.The blade was going to have a long nail nick but when i went to cut it i realized i was sent the wrong collet for my cutter so i left out the nick

Nice job!

A light box is definitely the way to go on the pics but even with the box you may still have to 'tweak' the picture a little. For now, maybe this one that I tweaked for you will help:

It doesn't look much like a Barlow but I like it just the same. I think that you have done some good work there. congrats.

Thanks Ray and Jerry.I tried to make it as much a barlow as i could while still having a 4" blade. The handle ratio is that of a barlow. It is thicker at the rear and narrower in the front. The bolster length is long, also in barlow style. This is one big knife and in retrospect I should have used Don's barlow plans so it could be more easily compared to the others.

Hi McAhron and Ray.
That sure looks like a beautiful finish on that folder! The size coukld be great for hunting! And Ray, that "touch up" you did was great work too. I'm enjoying seeing that folder! Frank

Thanks frank. It would make a nice hunter because of the belly.I am making a sheath today for carrying as it is to large to ride comfortably in my pocket.
