Dundee Style Bowie

As soon as the sheath is ready this one is off to Afghanistan, CPM 154, the blade is 11" with an overall length of 16 1/4", 416 stainless fittings with desert ironwood for a handle.

Wow!!!

First of all, was it really 1986 for Crocodile Dundee movie ?

Well any way after getting over the shock of how old we are getting. DARN GOOD LOOKING KNIFE!!!!

I hope when it goes to Afghanistan that it serves its purpose well.

Thank you both for your comments, Jeff I dont think this knife will see any use in Afghanistan, the customer a Sgt. N_____ is doing a tour now and wont be home for a few months he's just excited about his purchase and cant wait until he gets home to hold her........then again you never know (( :

It doesn't matter if its a gift to make a person smile or a tool for work, as long as it serves its purpose well.

By the way you mentioned blade and overall length, what was the blade width at the end of the false edge or widest point it looks to be approx 1 7/8 in but hard to tell without any known reference points.

Sry not trying to be nosey, well maybe a little. lol

Its a great looking knife and sounds like its going to have a nice home.
