Light Painting
It has been quite a while since I posted anything here.
Just completed a couple of light painted pictures, hope that is the correct term. They are both the same shot I just removed the color from the one. Comments please. |

I really like the first one. I have always loved black and white and it works great for me with the subject that you are using.
Its makes everything IMHO look more like a period piece. For what its worth, I have always heard the technique referred to as light removal. Jeff |

I have quite often kicked up the contrast a bit when I convert a color pic to B&W. It seems to decrease a bit but is easily fixed in a photo editor. It definitely adds depth and character to pics of older items.
