Payments
I was wondering how you guys handle payment at shows. If the customer pays with a personal check do you require an ID, etc. So far I haven't had any problems with this but since I'm going to the bladeshow I'm not sure how to handle it.
Also wondering about cash. I've heard of a few cases of counterfeit bills circulating in Mt. but so far so good for me. Is it offensive to the customer to inspect each bill? Maybe one of those bill checking pens that gives a different color for good bills?????? Any comments on how to tacktfully handle this would be appreciated  Jon __________________ www.jonchristensenknives.com ABS Master Smith "If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always gotten" author unknown |

Be up front about it, say "excuse me but there are some bad bills circulating and I just want to be sure" Unless the person is trying to give you a bad bill they will understand. People for the most part can sympathize with you.
