Thanks , Curtis & SB . Curtis , I appreciate the info on the surface grinder stone . I have no mill experience so can't quite get the mental pic of how to do it although it sounds pretty simple. Wish I could see it done once !

Joe if you see a photo of the tool I think you,ll get it. Craigb was the one that showed me and I made my arbor from his picture. Ill try to post a photo of mine or may be Craig will share his. His is much nicer than the one I made.

Thanks, Kirby. The pics help greatly ! I think I already have an arbor . Looks the same as a splitting saw arbor. Any idea where I can get the smallgrinder wheel ?

Thanks ,
Joe

Any of the big machine tool dealers would have them McMaster Carr, Travers or MSC. Rather then buy a new one try asking you local machine shop for a worn out wheel. You would want at lest an 80 grit or finer in my opinion.

Your welcome Joe! Unfortunately I wont be able to make it to the Blade show this year. I have had three surgery's to my right wrist since June. I'm out of work out of money and just about out of knives . Hopefully next year will be a different story and Ill get to meet you and the other guys on this forum.
