Remember 007 pocket knives?

I am trying to find a 007 folding pocket knife. Anyone know who made/makes them? Was there more than one type of poket knife called a 007?

I have one

I still have an old "Bond 007" lock back that I got in a trade about 28 years ago. My knife is marked "Stainless Steel Japan" on the left side of the blade. It used to read "Bond 007" in gold letters on the left side of the brown wooden handle. The right side of the blade and handle are unmarked. The blade pivot appears to be brass or copper, with brass hex nuts on either side. Overall, it is a pretty crudely made knife. Nevertheless, I have always liked it, so I've hung on to it all these years. I hope this helps. -Chris

ps: I tried to upload a photo for you, but the size and shape limitations imposed by the forum were too difficult to meet. If you want some pictures you can give me an email address and I'll send them. -Chris

Boy does that bring back memories.
My cuzzin had one of those, hanging out with his buddy in his room, flipping it open.
The pivot pin fell out (or broke) and the blade flew out of the handle into the wall above his friend's head.

Perhaps that quick release blade was designed by "Q"?!

I don't know, cuzzin didn't have a British accent...but he did have some cool (teenage style) knives.
His pop was a city cop and he'd confiscate knives and throw them in the trash at home.
Cuzzin was in charge of takin' out the trash
