Next Comes the Sheath
Just finished this hidden tang Bowie. The blade is 440C and the handle is ironwood. Overall length is 13 1/4 inches. Next step is to make a sheath for it. Guess I need to review the Paul Long videos.
Let me know what you think please. Thanks Steve __________________ Stephen Vanderkolff Please come on over and check out my website. http://www.vanderkolffknives.com/ Thanks Last edited by SVanderkolff; 10-29-2012 at 12:13 PM. |

Stephen
I really like that Bowie! One thing I noticed is that the guard is not over exaggerated, which a lot of people tend to do when making a bowie. IMHO that is a nice touch, very functional and suits your design well. The handle work and design makes a perfect package with that blade. I cannot wait to see the sheath. Jeff |
