Guy making grinders

I was just poking around craigslist and saw an ad by some guy in Georgia making what look to be pretty cool grinders. I am space constrained so I probably wont buy one but if I were in the market I would be making a trip to see him.

If anyone picks one up I would be interested to know how they perform

They look too light to me. On wheels too. A person leans on his grinder sometimes.

looks interesting, but I agree with Andy. I would probably take it off and bolt it down, but that looks like it would take some engineering. . .

Would definitley have to try one out hard before I bought one. Looks like it might be a bit "springy" and you might wind up having to push it up against a wall to work on it. Proof would be in working one hard for a few knives to see if it will stand up.
But Hey, don't need no stinkin' grinder if you have a good hammer!
