Just had a thought
I just realized that if we do the kitchen kith we won't have time for a Christmas Kith and it was fun.
The idea behind it was anything legal (we do mail across international borders at times) but we teased each other with only glimpses of the knives as they are being made. It was full of tongue in cheek humor. This puts it at odds with the teaching offered by the kitchen kith. So I thought I'd throw a poll up to see which one you guys would prefer. The learning offered by a kitchen kith or the joking of the Christmas kith? Jim __________________ I cook with a flair for the dramatic, and depraved indifference to calories |

I'm in either way, Jim. Though, I'm always game for a good joke and lot of kidding around.

In this political climate, I need all the humor I can get.
Plus, I have a great piece of stabilized holly waiting for a project. I vote for the Christmas theme this time as I have yet to participate in one. __________________ Andy Garrett https://www.facebook.com/GarrettKnives?ref=hl Charter Member - Kansas Custom Knifemaker's Association www.kansasknives.org "Drawing your knife from its sheath and using it in the presence of others should be an event complete with oos, ahhs, and questions." |

I voted for Christmas, just because I love Christmas. But back to the question, why can't we learn and joke with a kitchen knife? I do love the idea of a new knife for Christmas.

Well it looks like the Christmas KITH is the clear leader.
I will be on my 2 weeks a year for the Reserves starting Monday. I will leave the poll up while and than post a new thread to kick it off. I should have intermittent access to the net so please post any recommendations. Rules: No showing the design or the blades in whole Outside of remembering that some maybe under restrictions for overseas shipping It would be fun to add something of a Christmas theme Sheath optional Here was one we had done: http://www.knifenetwork.com/forum/sh...christmas+kith Jim __________________ I cook with a flair for the dramatic, and depraved indifference to calories |

Guys
I'm back! Just got back from two weeks in Coronado and #### they tried to kill me. Seabee life is very different from other areas of the Navy. Picked up some new uniforms and a new command. Instead of the Seabees I will be reporting to Seal Team 17. They used to be known as Operational Support Team 1 but changed their name in Dec but ST-17 is way cooler. I will be a battery changer for the radios. I also picked up something I will be sending out to one of you this week. Nothing all that special just something that caught my eye. So are we ready to proceed? Any other suggestions, comments, concerns? Jim __________________ I cook with a flair for the dramatic, and depraved indifference to calories |
