Smile New member saying Hi

Hi all, hope this thursday evening finds everyone well. my name is Lowell Hunt I live in Logan,Co. KY an have been a photographer for about 8yrs now. some time back a friend an co-worker ask me to photograph his knives (Donald Gidcumb) to go on Ebay. after I finished the shoot I really enjoyed it. I would like to learn more about what you the makers would like to see. an from the photographers please feel free to tell me what I'm doing right or wrong from what I can tell their is not a flooded market for knife photographers but I would like to be one. I have to say my 2 favorites are Terrill an Shoop "great work guys." as soon as I figure out how to post my work on here I will put up some pix for everyone to see.

Hi Lowell- Welcome to the Knife Network Forums... I'll make sure and pass your regards on to Shoop.... LOL... (I'm just pulling your leg... Actually, it's "Coop".. Short for Jim Cooper and he and Terrill are moderators here in the photography section..).. There are a number of folks who post work here that are just top flight guys with a camera.. Murray White, Buddy Thompson, Chuck Burrows, Rick Palm, Pieter M. and Stephen F. just to name a few that come to mind.. Please do post some shots, and again, welcome...
Best, Rich

CarpByShoop...

Hi Lowell,

Thanks for your intro, and welcome aboard. I've been called far worse--as probably have you!

I look forward to seeing your work.

Coop

Welcome from a fellow Kentuckian!

The way I post pics is pretty easy. Go to photobucket.com and create a free account. Upload the pics from your computer to the photobucket site using the little browse button they have. When the picture appears on the photobucket page it will have 3 little boxes underneath. highlight the one that says IMG, right click and copy it. Paste the whole thing here in your message and it should show up.
