Report Post to Moderator

Does it sound like a good idea to get a report post button? I know we have great mods and they take care of things very quickly, but sometimes I feel like things may slip through the cracks. For example, we've got OSfllwrb, who has posted twice since he/she joined yesterday, once in the Bali forum and once in Tool Time, about nothing at all related to the forum topic. I don't know if these are legitimate posts or not, but they definitely don't seem to be in the correct forums. Anyways, the report button is just something I've seen on other forums and it seemed at least a little successful.

Any thoughts here?

Sounds like a great idea but the relevant moderator for the specific forum isn't allways online. All moderators should have the power to remove really sick threads from any forum.

Both of your ideas sound good to me. When I find these posts I usually send a PM to the appropriate moderator, but I would love to do it with one click of the mouse.

Hi Cap,

It's a good idea, and it's already in place. Look at the little warning icon in the upper RH corner of a post. That's where you flag it.

The amount of spam is getting ridiculous, and I don't know that there is much we can do other than to ignore and report it.

Thanks!

Coop

Thanks Coop, I don't know how I managed to miss that. I was looking for the button today and that's why I made the post.

I don't know that I've ever gotten a flag to know. Alex can tell us. I would think it would signal a mod in those forums.
