CKD I.D.'s

We need to make some pins or plaques for CKD members for shows.
It would help us identify each other, and generate new interest for the forum as well.
A simple tag to wear at shows.
If we all pitch in we can have some made up and help us to spread the word of what we are doing here.
This is a win/win idea.
What do you think?
Alex, do you want free advertising?

That is a great idea, Gene.

Enamel pins don't cost much, are very classy, and I'd be willing to buy one!

buttons, smaller "CKD" pins,hats,....all sound good to me.

There are many events that we attend that would allow us to meet and greet (if we had a way of recognizing) our fellow members and become an even closer knit bunch.

Ya,

Good Idea!

Anyone want to call around and see what we're looking at in terms of bucks?

Pins / badges / patches are good and plaques on a table at shows could have a very interesting effect.

Of course, I'm a supporter ... anything you all need, let me know! My biggest problem is time. If I had time ... boy, if I only had more time!

Thank you guys!

Alex

This is a cool idea!

I'm heading up to the New York show in November in a rented bus with Ron Nott and some of his friends. It's a day trip...Sure would be cool for me and Ron to be able to walk through the show with some CKD I.D.

I'd be proud ro wear it!!! Count me in.

Hats? I like hats.

When you look like I do, you wear hats and grow a beard. Standing behind objects larger than you do also helps a little.

Oh! Back to the hats. I would like to see CKD hats. When people see a hat that says CKD on it, they will ask you, "What does CKD stand for?" And the discussion of knives and good people will begin.

A pin would be OK, I could pin it on my HAT.

I also would be interested. May I suggest that the end product be a name badge with CKD (member) & the individual's name. All of us wear name badges at a show and having a permanent one would show more class than the throw away name tags given out at each show as well as promoting the forums. These could be custom lasar engraved for a minimal price.

There is a great site for getting merchandise with a picture or logo. This could also be a fund raiser for advertising costs.

Great idea! I'd like an 8x10 that would fit one of those plastic stands to place on my exhibitors table.
Pins, badges, hats are cool.
Anyone for a tatoo? I'm a little heavy-handed in that department but I'll have the plasma on standby!
