Sometimes, if your are careful and use even pressure, you can push those puckers down and smooth out the tracking with a polished antler tip. It actually helps pack the leather back in around the stitches as well. I usually run a creaser around my finished edges before a final burnishing with gum tag. Cleans up the "corners" for me.
