Found in fox hole during WWII
My grandfather found this in a fox hole during WWII. Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about what it may be? No markings on the blade that I can see. Sheath and knife handle are both wood. Handle looks to be hand carved. There's a star on the handle. The head of the handle looks like a "creature" head for lack of a better description.
Thanks for looking and for any assistance you might be able to provide. |

This is a Philippine talibon, that looks to have seen an interesting life.
