ss solder
hey all with the electro-etcher (bob's) im trying to solder my wire to the ss plate is their a special solder to use cause i cant seem to get it to work

There are special solders made for pretty much any material that can be soldered. I can't tell you what to buy because I try not to solder much of anything and don't really know exactly what you need. Quiz the guys at the local hardware store or try an internet search for the correct solder.
Other than that, consider whether or not it might be possible to attach a screw to the stainless plate and use that to secure the wire......... |

I assume you're talking about soft solder. I use 400F "silver solder' [tin with 5% silver] but it requires a flux designed for stainless steel.
