Hi all!

We moderators would like to welcome everyone who wishes to join and participate in this forum. Please simply register and invite your friends to do so too. We look forward to meeting you all here!

We're a few regular guys who have no agenda other than the love of Randall knives. Please read our "rules of engagement" as follows. We really think this is going to be fun, and with your participation this will be assured.

Thanks,

BoBlade (Ron)
Moosehead (David)
Rick Bowles

The rules here are simple:

1. Be nice.

2. Do unto others.

3. Be civil.

4. Make no personal attacks.

5. No political posts.

A posting, which violates these rules in the opinion of a consensus of the moderators, will generate a PM warning to the offender. A second offence will result in a 30 (thirty) day suspension. A third offence will result in a permanent ban from further participation in the forum.

Question UPDATED INSTRUCTIONS for Posting a SINGLE IMAGE with your post!

Hello all!

Here are two different ways to post your image:

A): Here are a simple set of instructions for posting a single image as an attachment from your computer with your post. However, please note that the Knife Network has a maximum limit of 5.0 MB for all of your attachments. Once you reach your limit, you will have to delete images to make more room, or you will not be able to post any more attachments.

1. Write the post to your satisfaction, including all smilie icons.
2. Click Manage Attachments. (The button located below the text window). A new window will open. You can browse for your image here.

Please note: You will also see in the bottom of the window the limit of the size of the attachment that you can post according to its type.

3. Browse for the image in your computer file.

4. Click Upload.

5. Click Preview post (image will not appear) and edit if necessary.

6. Click Submit... and your image will appear at the bottom of your post.

Please remember that the Knife Network has a maximum limit of 5.0 MB on the amount of attachments you can post.

Note: You can also upload an attachment from a URL in this window if you choose, but it will count towards your limit. See B) below for unlimited URL sharing.

B): You can also post an image from a photo hosting website. This method is highly recommended, as there is no limit on the total number of photos you can share.

1. Click on the Yellow square (insert image) button, just above the window where you type your pos. A small window will appear where you can paste the URL of your image from the hosting site.

2. Preview your post and the image should appear.

3. Click Submit... and your image will appear at the bottom of your post.

4. As noted above: You can also upload an attachment from a URL in the window if you choose, using the Manage Attachments button.

GOOD LUCK to everyone!

We look forward to seeing your pictures!

David

Question UPDATED INSTRUCTIONS for Posting MULTIPLE IMAGES as shared URLs within your text!

Hello all!

Here are a simple set of instructions for posting multiple images as shared URL's and inserting them within your text.

This method is for those of you who use an image sharing website to host your photos.

It is highly recommended, as unlike posting attachments, you can post up to ten images in a single post, and there is no limit to the number of images you can post on the Knife Network.

1. One at a time, select the image you want to share from your host site. It will appear in your post, wherever you place the cursor in your text.

NOTE: Although there is no limit on the size of your images, it is recommended that you ensure that they will fit comfortably on the average computer screen. Also, if it is too big, those without high speed will have difficulty waiting for them to load.

2. Copy the URL of the image on your host site'

3. Click on the Yellow square (insert image) button, just above the window where you type your post. A small window will appear where you can paste the first URL of your image from the hosting site.

4. Click Preview Post to check if the image appears properly.

5. If so, proceed in the same way with the rest of your images. You may include up to ten images within the same post.

6. Once you are ready with your text and images, click Submit and your images should appear in your post on the forum.

GOOD LUCK to everyone!

We look forward to seeing your pictures!

Cheers!

David
