Old Knifemaker
Hello Guys... I've been on a two year adventure fighting Bladder and Colon Cancer and had to drop out of Knife making and visiting the KnifeForum... I missed you all ... I learned a lot about Cancer and found out I wasn't Bullet proof after all... The Doctors say I'm Cancer free now and can go back into the shop... I've really missed my shop and creating knives... I had great support from people like Don Guild ,Walter Hoffman Ed Wormser,Tex Skow and so many others... Laying flat on my back with tubes going in and coming out of me for months on end, I designed knives in my head.. now, back to work...Lloyd

Great to hear Loyd........................... My son Clayton has been "cancer free" now for 7+ years.......... He is now 13. Clay got a lot of support from this knife family while he was going thru his chemo and we will never forget it. One of his passions is still knives.
Good Luck and enjoy your Cancer Free status !!!!!!!!! BB |

Wondered what happened to you Lloyd, and this is good news!
My wife is a cancer survivor and I remember all too well the tribulations she went through, but she's been free for over 8 years and will remain so the good Lord willing...... __________________ Chuck Burrows Hand Crafted Leather & Frontier Knives dba Wild Rose Trading Co Durango, CO chuck@wrtcleather.com www.wrtcleather.com The beautiful sheaths created for storing the knife elevate the knife one step higher. You've always been Hale---now it is good to hear that you are Hale and hardy. I am a cancer survivor since 1973 and life is good!!! Returning to your shop will be a blessing for you and eye candy for us.
