LOVE the sheath!

Knife ain't too shabby, either. Do I detect fiddleback maple (one of my favorite woods) and some nicely done hand-forged steel?

Thanks

Thanks for the comments guys. Did not intend for the pic to be posted when I made it or I would have taken a little more time w/ it rather than just lay it on the floor to shoot.
Handle is curly teak from Chuck Bybee. Blade is my 1084 & 15N20 "Cedar Creek pattern. Sheath is my 4th. and I still have a lot to learn w/ leather but it is fun.

I like, mucho, Bill!

You sure caught onto the sheathmaking quick. That star concho sure is a nice touch.

Thanks, Ken, for hosting and posting!

Bill, my friend----YOU DID GOOD! and good is an understatement! That is an excellent job. Can you show us the way the belt loop is fashioned? Sandy

Thanks Sandy

Sandy a compliment from you is a TRUE compliment buddy. I know I will never come close to matching your work but I decided to give making sheaths a try. I learn w/ each one and each one seems to be a little better. I mold and fit them so the knife seats in the sheath w/ a pop and will not shake out. The belt loop is for a high carry & is just above flush w/ the top of the sheath. I left enough room in the loop so you can adjust the sheath some if you crawl in the truck w/ it on. My next sheath will be a horizontal carry for a blade I forged today. Will take a pic of the loop and email it to you Sandy. Don't want to take up too much band width here and tick folks off.
