Today's work....toward Blade

Although there not completely done yet, the pic gives the gist of what I got done today (had one of my "good" days today).

The ironwood handle will get carved/textured, the burl gets 10-12 coats of tru-oil, and the bowie blade needs etched (it's a laminate blade of Ws/nickel/Mosaic) then coated with clear Gun-Kote, the hardware is getting a coating of "gun metal blue" Gun-Kote. Then just have to pray that I can glue the stag on the bowie up straight.
