Couple I just had Photographed
Haven't gotten around to posting much lately but just got these email pics from Coop. I'd built them for a little show we're having over here next month but emailed pics to a guy over in WA who's bought a couple of knives in the past. They wont be going to the show, he bought them both...
Thought you guys might like to see them. My first sub-hilt, 6" random damascus, 416 fittings and some of the best koa you'll ever run across. This is 5" of twist damascus, stainless fittings and a little piece of elk antler. Thanks for looking. __________________ Doug Campbell ABS Journeyman Smith |

Now what would possess a fellow to make a subhilt, no matter, it came out just fine. I like the shape of that clip point blade on the elk handled hunter. Great pair, thanks for showing them.
Hope you continue to have that inventory problem, Craig |

Doug, Fantastic work, both very sweet. Twist is one of my favorite patterns. Especially the layer count you took that one to. Hope your not to busy at the ranch to make more.

Doug, both of those are great knives. I like that twist on the small hunter too.
But that subhilt as a whole package is really an outstanding knife. I always look forward to seeing your work. Keep it up. __________________ John Doyle You have nothing to fear but fear itself...........and bears. |
