NEW Knife Show June 28-28

The Kentucky Cutlery Association has a NEW knife show this weekend, Friday-Sunday June 26-28, 2009 at the Paroquet Springs Conference Center in Shepherdsville, KY (I-65 Exit #117 just 20 miles south of Louisville, KY).

This is shaping up to be a great show. We will have around 150 tables with a good mix of dealers and custom knifemakers.

Please note that this is NOT the NKCA (national Knife Collectors Association)Show. This is the Kentucky Cutlery Association (KCA) and it is our first show at this location.

Custom makers who will be there include Gil Hibben, Doug and Diana Casteel, Jerry Bodner, Gene Baskett, Barbara Baskett, Mike Pelligrin, Ed Wallace, Cliff Fendley, Paul Meyers and Mike Carter. In addition there will be at least 100 tables of factory knives, collectable knives, knifemaking supplies and more.

In addition to knives for sale, Gil Hibben will be displaying some of his rarely seen personal collection of knives he made for use in movies like Rambo, Star Trek, The Fifth Element and some of his elaborate art knives.

We will have several knives to raffle off (including customs) and there will be a knife auction.

Admission is free with a donation to the Crusade For Children and there is plenty of free parking. Show hours are 9-5 Friday and Saturday, 9-3 Sunday.

Come on out and see us. This is going to be a really good knife show. For more information and directions see http://www.kentuckycutlery.com/KCAshow.htm
