Still no name for this one, but we are closing in on it...

No name for this knife yet but we are closing in on one. Until the name is settled, I'm calling it a Rhino Whacker. It's on my 'available' page here:
http://www.mickleyknives.com/html/rhino_whacker.html

Here's the skinny on this one:
I haven’t any idea what to call this knife. It just happened. I had an odd piece of steel that I thought really needed to be used and this one came out from it. It is made from 154CM steel. The bottom edge is a recurve 8” hollow grind, the front edge is a 14” hollow grind. It’s mirrored all the way with a Ironwood scales for the handle. The blade is nearly 6” and the OAL is just under 10 1/2”. This will come with a zippered case. It is SOLD, thanks.

Tracy, everytime I look at this one, one of those bugs from starship troopers pops into my head.

See the curves on the mouths? That's what pops into my mind.

The first starhip troopers was campy enough that is was funny and hel my attention until the end. I see now what you are talking about. I'll have to find out the various bugs names form that movie next time.
