Order Form
Was wondering how other keep track of orders/inquiries and correspondence about orders as they are being built?
I thought I'd start by creating a form with: -Customer name and address -date called -knife style -Specs. -handle materials -blade materials -Cost quote -work hours involved -material costs Thats my start, anything else I'm missing? Looks good, Jon. I also have the date promised, any embellishment info, and a table for checking off HT steps (austenize, temper, cryo, temper, temper, and finished RC hardness).

Thanks Don,
Never thought of putting the heat treatment on there, kind of a check off to keep track of it and for future reference, good idea. per don's suggestion - keeping everything in one place makes it that much easier to fill out the certificate. besides, i can't keep everything in my head anymore.
. and jon - congrats on the journeyman test __________________ wayne things get better with age ... i'm approaching magnificent |
