Step Drills

Hi

My name is Alan Maraist, I'm a tool and die maker by day and I make a few knives
in my garage when I can. I've noticed in all the catalogs that you are paying way too much for step drills. I can make you a 4 drill set which will include

5/16 .218 pilot
5/16 .162 pilot
1/4 .175 pilot
1/4 .162 pilot

or I can do any size pilot you need.
I can make any size body you need as well, for you folder makers.
A 4 drill set is $35 + 3 for shipping
Custom sizes could be a little more
If your intrested PM me here or send me an email atswampt@dropzone.com

Thank You

Alan

For all the folder makers here, I can make a step drill to fit the 2-56 screws you use.

Thanks

Alan

Step Drills from Alan

Hey Folks,

I recently purchased some step drills for my folder making adventures. Anyway I pruchased some step drills from him and he does a great job. I got them quickly and even before he got my check. If you dont want to spend $15.00 for step drills give Alan a call. Thanks Alan

I'll back that comment from Shudy, I've got some of Alan's drills as well. He does very good work. I highly recommend him.

Alan,

can I use your step drills as counterbores for titanium for small(0-4) size screws?

Thanks,
Alex

Alex

I'll try some tomorrow at work, I have a small piece, and get back with you. I've never tried using them on any metal.
