How Paul Long Makes Scraps

Scraps must be made, or produced. In order to manufacture a really good pile of scrap, you must make a really good pile of art, and here it is! Paul will describe these for you. This evening, I'll post some individual shots of these knives and sheaths. Good going Paul!

Not smart enough to post my own pictures

Thanks to Robert the nine sheaths above made it into the forum. They represent one of the orders I took and the show in Austin this week end, and they went out today to Gary Hicks of Tuscola, Tx. He's taking them to a show in Denver sometime soon. These sheaths all are permanent repeat patterns that I developed for Gary's line up of knives. The bowie on the left is new for him this trip, but the other styles have been repeated many times. Someone posted recently "I'd like to see the back of the sheath"....well there are the backs. As Robert said, I created quite a few "scraps" here. Before I forget....the knife on the left in the top photo is by none other than our very own Chris Nilluka. It's one of my favorite knives. The rest are also my knives, but they are all by Gary Hicks. Cheers!

Paul
Edited to add: The bowie sheath I referred to is the top left in the shot showing the backs. I guess Robert will post the front shot later.
