To buy a two- or three-bladed locking folding knife?

Perhaps 20 years ago I owned a Browning three-bladed locking folding knife. Details I think I remember are:
- Made in Japan
- [Advertised as] 440-C stainless steel blades about 3.5 inches long
- Aluminum body - extremely light overall knife weight (or so it felt to me); smooth enough configuration to be comfortably pocketable
- Rubber or soft scales with molded-in checkering
- Lock releases were a little bit forward of center of blade back
- One clip point blade with partial serrations; one drop point; last blade not recalled except NOT having gut hook
- Extremely easy opening and closing
- Possibly had F. D. T. or some other initials with first letter "F"
***
I seek a two- or three-bladed locking folding knife of good quality having general purpose blades [at least one a] 3-3.5 inches. Knife is to be carried in a front pocket, not in a pouch or scabbard. Since I am unfamiliar with such knives currently available as NEW or used excellent condition, I have no idea of price range, brands, or models. I have done a modest Internet search and have not clearly identified what I'm looking for.

I'm really "at sea" on this. New or excellent condition is equally acceptable. But New or acceptable what?

find a local knife shop, or sporting goods store, and check out all the different ones you might like.

unless you are looking to spend some more serious $$$ and have one custom made.

I still have a few of my custom made folders that I made 20 years or so ago.

If you're interested, contact me.
