I think that I will be ready for the rubber room by the 1st of June, if not sooner...lol.
By the way.....is it just me or have we gotten that much better as a group from top to bottom since the 2007 newbie kith? From the knives that have been posted so far, it sure looks like it.
Hey man.......hows my knife coming along?

Neither jawilliams0425 nor I have been able to contact Sixfooter. It appears his last post here was in early March, so for all intents and purposes he is no longer active here at the Knife Network.

I suggest that jawilliams0425 send his KITH knife on to timekeeper. If that's not possible or not satisfactory, please PM me and we'll see if we can get this resolved.

What about jdm61? Have you heard from him?
His couple of weeks has turned into about 7 weeks or 9 weeks if you want to count the original two week extension.

OK. . . is there anyone else who has not received their KITH knife?

Joe has likely been gearing up for the Blade show, but otherwise it's not like him. I'll shoot him a PM and see what's up.

Look at what I got.

Good things come to those who wait.My knife from Joe arrived today!
I had looked at Joes work on his website and knew I would be getting something special.
The best thing I can say about this knife and sheath is it is inspiring and humbling.I have never held another handmade knife besides what I have made so this is a real eyeopener. He also sent the case for it too.
I hope these pics show how nice this package is.
Thanks man!

Thank you sir, but I can not take responsibility for the sheath. That is one of the "off the shelf" models from Chris Kravitt at Treestump Leather. As for the pictures, they are a hell of a lot better than anything i can do, so I am going to steal one of them. Before you guys ask, the specs are forged W2, 416 stainless and amboyna burl with a boiled linseed oil finish. I know that you are supposed to stabilize amboyna, but this handle came from a 2 x 2 x 24 inch stick that I got from a custom pool cue supplier and none of the owners of knives with handles made from this stuff have had any problems with ti moving. It was very dense for amboyna and had nary a void in the entire stick that I can remember. The bad news is that this was the last piece I had.
