Has anyone done anything toward this yet. If so love to see some of the designs.

This old thread keeps getting a bump now and then. It may be about time to design and build one of these things.

With the current popularity of the very cost effective Sunray wheels, it should be cheap to have a few 1" wheels made.

So Why don't I just bump it again??
I have a 1X42 With 8" disc with some mior problems and I have been kicking around a rebuild. Or scrapping it and using parts on a homebuild. Disc table never worked quite right and platen and rest are too light and flex.
I've never had a good belt on it, just the cheapies I got from Sears, so am not sure I ever gave it a chance.
Since I found a nice assortment of belts at Tru-Grit, I think I'll place an order.
Advice on what to get would be apreciated?

as a 2 X 42 owner, the ceramic, Zirc & Gator belts make a big difference over what you can find in AO belts

Adding a glass plate to the platen helps your grinding as well.
