san mai billets
hello fellow bladesmen. not new to the forum but new to posting. anyways i will get to the point. ill be graduating radiolography college soon and planning on hitting the forge again this summer to make san mai billets for myself and possibly other people. mostly ill be making billets with 1095 sandwiched by 1018 and possibly some thin nickel or 15n20 for extra contrast between them. my question is, if i do decide to make more than desired for myself i planned on making some to sell on the forum if anyone desired. does anyone have any idea if it would be worth my time and be decently marketable to people without the means to make. i do have experience forge welding and it will be quality welds if thats any question.
