Latest "Fishscale" folder ready to ship to it's new home.

Been working on this one for a while....between the Doc visits and feeling crappy, it seems like it took forever....

Cool stuff out of the shop Ed. Probably the distractions that really slow down the projects. Maybe a pheasant feather pattern with rainbow anodizing on the next one.

Take care, Craig

Don.....it's Ti scales, that I carved the scales into.....blasted, the flat black gun kote......afterward I sanded off the "flats" and anodized the gold on.

Looks cool Ed. Great imagination. Reminds me of a thread I seen somewhere where someone made scales for a knife that were just like fish scales. I've been looking for that thread for a while now and can't seem to find it.

Cool, Ed-really like the contrast of the gold and black. Reminds me of a koi fish for some reason.

Boatbuilder-not sure if this is the one you were thinking of, but pretty neat and definitely has fish scales.

Wow! That sounds like a lot of work, but it was certainly worth it. Thanks, Ed.

No secrets here! I just stumble my way through things....usually wasting a bunch of material along the way!

Hi Sam!

Went to a specialist in Kalispell, MT about a week ago. He did an "endoscopically guided ultrasound", basically an ultrasound from the inside out. He said that all my internals look good, and that he thinks my pain is "muscular/skeletal". Now he's sending me to another Doc who specializes in that. I am feeling a bit better....still in pain most of the time, but I just keep plodding along until it make me sit or lay down.
Still have the lung issues going on too....but good news on that front....my last CT in late Sept showed that the "nodules" in my lungs had stayed the same, and in some cases shrank. So now I'm on treatments every 21 days through the end of the year. In Jan I'm scheduled for another CT to see where things are, and that will determine how things go from there.

Take Care Pal!
