Big Game Hunter Style Knife - old school, 1972
Despite it's 'old school' feel and look, Bernard Sparks, in 1972, created this hunter style knife of size and heft to handle big game chores at the highest level of fit and finish one could find in those days. Sparks is a former Guild president.
1 lb. 2 oz., OAL 10 1/2 in., Stag, Brass and Wood handle, mirror polish blade, probably stainless steel of some sort. Got this knife in trade from BR Hughes for an old Clyde Fisher Skinner I had. The Fisher skinner was nice but BR knew Clyde well and collected his work - I didn't. I was happy to trade and very pleased to receive this knife. |
