10 inch Hunter/Skinner or Bird & Trout 154-CM

Hi All,

Finished this up yesterday. Its made from 154-CM a high carbon stainless that is excellent for out door use. I wear a dagger made of this steel next to my skin in the small on my back where it gets sweated on. So from personal experience I can tell you it will not rust in the presence of moderate salt and water. It is high carbon so it takes and holds an edge much better than your typical stainless steels.

Any way I am suggesting this be used as a light Hunter Skinner or a really nice Bird and Trout knife its triple tempered to a Rockwell 59 so it good and hard but not so hard that you need special materials to sharpen it. If you understand how knives can be made you know what I am talking about.

The Specifics:
Steel: .113 thick (That?s why I call it light)154-cm from Aldo, Rockwell hardness of 59
Length: 10 inches from butt end to tip
Blade length: In front to the ricasso is 5.25 inches. Has a slight flex to it.
Blade hight: at its widest: 7/8 of an inch
Handle material: Marble Wood with two 3/16ths brass pins
Non Slip File work on top for you thumb if your dressing game.
Very high satin polish on the blade, higher polish on the handle.
Very sharp and pointy, all and all a real nice light Knife.
Price delivered via Priority Mail to the lower 48 is $110.00 add another $15.00 for a black Kydex belt sheath.

Thanks for looking, comments are always welcome, Ken
