Hey Brother!
How's things in the boonies? I hope that's a "for sure" on Trackrock. Been a good while. Debbie and Frank have been asking if your coming.
If you've thought about going over the mountain to the Kentucky HI (next weekend?), rattle ol' Rick's cage with some hard questions about his leather work - he's doing a demo for the crowd. I'd be going with him if I hadn't made a commitment to do a forging demo at a Boy Scout Camporee that weekend.
Shame you couldn't make it down to the Blade, you could of harassed Brian on his maiden vouage. He did well. Would of made you proud.

Brother Carl,

Life is as good as it can be. This fresh country air is good for the spirit.
Dont plan on coming down off the ridge till trackrock. Gotta take out a mortgage for a tank of gas to get down there . Would have loved to have been at Blade. Maybe next year I can squeeze in with somebody at a table. I proud of Brian. If he keeps it up he'll be famous one day.

we sure would enjoy a visit......

Mark

Congrats on the Blade Mag coverage Brother! I was looking at the new Post Office mug shot of our little brother, Brian, on page 58, did a little thumb flipping and spotted a pipe hawk that looked very familiar (see it every day as one of my screen savers). Still a very fine piece of work to look at, even on a glossy mag page.

That's just too cool, to have two of my favorite TR guys show up in the same publication.
Kudos (or is it cudzu?) heaped on both of you!

Note: Mark's on page 29 and Brian's on page 58.

Thanks Carl,

I think the hawk is my best work to date. Glad it's in good hands.

Yeah it was a treat to see Brother B Goode in the same issue too.

When is the North bound caravan on it's way up ?

Congratulations Mark! Until I saw this post I had not even opened my Blade this month. The hawk looks great. You can really see the results of the time and effort that went into that one. Hope to see you in Sept along with the rest of the TR crew.

Mark,
If you're talking about TR, I'll be there mid afternoon on Thursday and won't leave until Monday morning. (don't want to miss out on nothing!)
