Personalizer or Personalizer Plus

Is the added feature worth the money? Is this something that requires adjustment from knife to knife or is it more like set it, and forget it?

Andrew I have been using the personalizer plus for about 5 years. I like it very much. It is my understanding the personalizer plus is more powerful then the standard personalizer. I do not know if that more powerful etching is needed as I run mine at a setting of 3-4 and the dial goes up to 5. I find I get cleaner etchings at 3-4 on the dial and it prolongs the life of the stencils.
It is very simple to operate, find your setting that you like best and leave it there. All you have to do is the etch then push the toggle switch down to ' mark" to color the etched logo black. On the etch cycle I touch the pad to the stencil about 15 times for one second each time and about 8-10 times for the black marking and I end up with a very clean etch that is deep enough to clean up the mark with a 600 grit belt or finer belt if it is needed.
