TrackRock
Ok guys--I could not make TrackRock---Tell me how it went. Pictures Please. I miss all of you so much. I'm hoping to make the show in October to see all of you--if just for the day. I am going to try to make it a road trip for me and our grandson. He sure loves looking over Pappy's knives.

Joan,
We had a great weekend. Nothing like 5 to 6 anvils ringing at one time and the roar of forges giving it their all. Missed you being there. Anthony did his rib thing so everybody's trying to get comfortable in their clothes again. Ken Simmons was pretty active with his camera and so were the Matthews Brothers. I just carry a camera up there and bring it home without getting it out of the case. Hopefully one of them will post some pictures. Had quite a few new faces from surrounding states: Florida, So. Carolina and No. Carolina. __________________ Carl Rechsteiner, Bladesmith Georgia Custom Knifemakers Guild, Charter Member Knifemakers Guild, voting member Registered Master Artist - GA Council for the Arts C Rex Custom Knives Blade Show Table 6-H |

I am patiently waiting for some pictures from Ken, Harry and Charlie, Ryan and anyone else that made pics.........
Being old and senile, I left my camera at home..... I have scenes embedded in my brain, but can't figure out how to download them from my peanut-brain to my "pooter". Wonderful time with great fellowship......... You guys/gals don't know what you missed........... Robert |

I am going to try posting pictures of TrackRock one more time. Making knives isn't anything like as hard as getting pictures on this forum. Anyway, Charlie and I had a great time at TrackRock and learned alot. We also met some great people and ate some of the best ribs I have ever had. Although I am a stockremoval maker at heart, I think I will give this "Heat and Beat" a try. It looks like to much fun not to. Second Twin Twin Blades www.twinxblades.com |

Great pictures Harry. Thanks for posting them.
Hey Jim, they may be worth a thousand words, but they'll never drown out the sound of a well tuned drag! It was a grand time, you ought to join us next time Jim, you'd be more than welcome. You coming to the show in Marietta this weekend? I got a young scrimshander I'd like you to meet. He'll have some of his work at my table and should be there with Costa and me all weekend. __________________ Carl Rechsteiner, Bladesmith Georgia Custom Knifemakers Guild, Charter Member Knifemakers Guild, voting member Registered Master Artist - GA Council for the Arts C Rex Custom Knives Blade Show Table 6-H |
