Custom Made Ferrocium Fire Steels flint strikers

All pieces are hand made by myself. Here is some of my work:

Here is a short video showing how these fire steels work. These don't just spark, they produce blobs of molten metal capable of igniting any type of tinder. There's no need for a separate magnesium stick to get a fire going. These even work when wet. Towards the end of the video you can see me scraping the rod form a standing position and the molten metal stays lit all the way to the floor and still bounces around the floor.

If you are looking for something a little different, just let me know and we can work something out, here are the prices:

- standard 1/4" steel ----$25
-standard 3/8" steel-----$35
-lanyard hole with stainless steel insert---+$5
-paracord lanyard with metal clip-----+$5
-glow in the dark dot on the butt of the steel handle-----+$5

The glow in the dark powder I use for the dots is commercial grade 0 (highest grade you can buy) this stuff is 30 times brighter than the stuff they sell at most stores and it will remain visible to the human eye for more than 24 hours after it is charged with a light source.

I mostly work with G-10 and stag, if you want me to use any other type of material I can, but it may require I special order, which would cost a little extra. If you have a piece of stag from a deer you shot, or a bear claw from a bear you shot, and you want me to use that, I can.

The 1/4" steels are good for 3,000 strikes and the 3/8" steels are good for 12,000 strikes.
