Lexan and Kydex sheath tutorial

One of the finest tutorials on plastic sheath making was authored by Bob Engnath (now deceased). Although he is gone his expertise lives on. This article by him can be accessed at engnath.com/public/sheaths.htm I do not work in plastics but for those that do, this tutorial is a "gold mine" of information. Sandy

No, my friend, I haven't lost it as of yet---but I am working on it! As you mentioned that is really the OTHER SIDE! I thought that tutorial deserved being in a sheath forum. (After all, they are sheaths, even if they are made of,--ugh--, plastic) Different strokes for different folks as the old saying goes. Sandy

Yes I know. Even I have been known to make the statement that Plastic Sheaths can be the better choice depending on the intended use and I will stick by that statement.

The spreading of knowledge (like pollen ) is always welcome and important.

...and while visiting the Engnath site, everyone should be sure to spend LOTS of time looking over the rest of the offerings. http://engnath.com/public/intable.htm
There's a whole world's worth of knife-making knowledge there, and we should all thank the family for keeping the site available to us. Good call Sandy

Frank Sigman is now on board--

Now that Frank is a moderator on this forum, we will be rewarded with his knowlege---which is a lot more than "CONSIDERABLE" His Kydex and other plastic sheaths are very widely known for their superior quality. We are lucky to have his services! Sandy
