Knifemakers database?

Hey, I was just curious if any of you guys have sold through knifemakersdatabase.com? If so, what was your experience with them, etc...?

Their consignment rates seem fair, but after reading through their site; I get the impression that if you don't pay for the banners and advertising extras that you just wont get noticed.

Any thoughts?

What about some other consignment services you have worked with?

Thanks,
Matt

I inquired about selling on Knifemakers Database and couldn't get any response from them. I "lurk" from time to time, but my impression is that the owners have this forum up as an adjunct to another business and don't pay much attention to it.

Aside from that, it does not seem to get much traffic as judged by the numbers and dates of the posts. That said, it wouldn't seem to be a very productive place from which to sell. After all, selling is a numbers game and if they aren't getting the numbers....

I have a knife consigned to them. The forum is very quiet and the website owners don't seem to be very active promoting their program. No problems, however time will tell.
